There are two churches in the Parish of Honley with Brockholes and these are looked after by Revd. Martin Short.
St Mary’s Honley and St George's Brockholes are churches in the Diocese of Leeds and are set in the beautiful Holme Valley just south of the great industrial town of Huddersfield.
We are very welcoming churches - please join us for any of our events - as set out in our diary.
Our region is full of Christian history. In the eighteenth century, Henry Venn was for twelve years the Vicar of Huddersfield. Countless lives were changed as he explained the good news about Jesus Christ from the Bible. Members of St Mary’s and St George's seek to do the same today.
Whoever you are, we trust we have something for you. Everyone is welcome to our Sunday services. The principal service at St Mary’s is at 9.30 a.m., and at St George’s at 11 a.m.
