About us

There are two churches in the Parish of Honley with Brockholes.

St Mary’s Honley and St George's Brockholes are churches in the Diocese of Leeds and are set in the beautiful Holme Valley just south of the great industrial town of Huddersfield.

Our region is full of Christian history. In the eighteenth century, Henry Venn was for twelve years the Vicar of Huddersfield. Countless lives were changed as he explained the good news about Jesus Christ from the Bible. Members of St Mary’s and St George's seek to do the same today.

Whoever you are, we trust we have something for you. Everyone is welcome to our Sunday services.  The principal service at St Mary’s is at 9.30 a.m., and at St George’s at 11 a.m. All of our services are centred around hearing God speak through his word.
